Novalja bans all festivals on Zrce beach
ALTHOUGH it was known in mid-May that the organizers of large festivals on Zrce beach already canceled the events this year, Novalja has now officially decided to ban the festivals.
The Novalja Coronavirus Task Force held a videoconference where they talked about the coronavirus situation, and it was decided to ban the festivals this year.
“In agreement with the owners of clubs and festivals, there wasn’t a single festival of electronic music organized in Zrce beach, and the town of Novalja doesn’t want to give approval for music events on Zrce beach,” Novalja representatives said.
Regarding the latest coronavirus outbreak in some Croatian nightclubs, the Novalja Coronavirus Task Force decided not to give approval to clubs and beach concession holders to organize festivals, after-parties, and similar events this tourism season. The same applies to party boats.
It was suggested for the same decision to be forwarded to the Kolan Municipality where club Noa and other smaller clubs are situated, and they arrived at the same decision. The Novalja Coronavirus Task Force decided not to organize concerts, festivities, and parties outdoors until further notice.
