ON THE LAST day of June 2020, Dubrovnik's Stradun was more deserted than ever. That is an unfamiliar sight to the people of Dubrovnik, and they are sure to remember it for a long time.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, tourism took a great hit, and now only a few groups of tourists can be seen on Stradun. There are more pigeons on the streets than tourists, and even cafe terraces are not crowded.
