IN THE past 24 hours 890 tests for the coronavirus were conducted in Slovenia with nine cases proving positive and one more person has died, the Slovenian government said on Tuesday.
That is more new cases in one day compared to Monday, when 272 tests were conducted and only one new case was identified, however, two people died on Monday.
Currently there are 22 patients being treated in hospitals, two of whom are in intensive care units, and there are 213 active cases of the disease, the country's health ministry has reported.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Slovenia 2,190 people have been infected, with 123 people dying.
