CHELSEA je preokretom stigao do pobjede protiv Southamptona i zadržao četiri boda zaostatka za vodećim Arsenalom. Na Stamford Bridgeu momčad Josea Mourinha slavila je sa 3:1.
Gosti su poveli nakon svega 40 sekundi golom Jayja Rodrigueza, no 'Bluesi' su u drugom poluvremenu okrenuli rezultat, a strijelci su bili Gary Cahill (55), John Terry (62) i Demba Ba (90). Hrvatski reprezentativac Dejan Lovren igrao je cijeli susret za gostujući sastav.
