KADA je uragan Ida zahvatio New Orleans, to je utjecalo na mnoge ljude i kućne ljubimce. Jedan od tih ljubimaca bio je pit bul po imenu Bubbles.
Bubbles je bio svezan vani i sam se borio s olujom te je danima bio zarobljen pod ruševinama. Bio je gladan, žedan, uplašen i očajnički tražio pomoć.
Susjed je primijetio prestrašenog psa zaglavljenog ispod urušene šupe. Obavijestio je obližnji tim koji pomaže ljudima i životinjama na uraganom pogođenom području.
HRA disaster response team rescues dog trapped under collapsed shedOn Wednesday, HRA's Disaster Response Team was responding to animal control calls in Orleans Parish when a concerned resident flagged them down, alerting them to a dog who was trapped underneath a collapsed shed. Our team and officers with the The Louisiana SPCA rushed to the scene, where they found a scared dog chained inside of the shed and tangled under the debris. We suspect the dog had been stuck there – terrified in the sweltering heat with no food or water—since Hurricane Ida hit on Sunday. Our team carefully lifted the shed enough so we could guide the dog out from underneath and free him from the chain. Thankfully, and perhaps miraculously, the dog—who a young neighbor watching the rescue named Bubbles—was not injured. Once freed from the shed, Bubbles was super friendly and sweet and became almost immediately affectionate toward his rescuers. We transported him to safety at the Louisiana SPCA. Spasioci iz Humane Rescue Alliancea brzo su došli do Bubblesa kako bi ga oslobodili. Pas je četiri dana bio bez vode, kažu spasioci.
"Bio je zaglavljen, prestravljen, bez hrane i vode otkako je područje zahvatio uragan Ida", napisali su na Facebook stranici uz snimku spašavanja psa.
"Naš tim pažljivo je podignuo šupu kako bismo psa mogli izvući i osloboditi ga s lanca. Srećom, a i nekim čudom, pas nije ozlijeđen", dodaju.
Čim je shvatio da je napokon oslobođen, pas je postao nevjerojatno sretan, zahvalan i umiljat. Nakon spašavanja pregledao ga je veterinar te je smješten u sklonište. Tamo će ostati dok se ne pronađu vlasnici.
